In addition to the asphalt and concrete road work that Red Clay Industries is known for, we also perform asphalt and concrete crushing and recycling.  Red Clay owns 2 portable crushers which can be moved onsite for large crushing projects.  Red Clay is permitted by Mecklenburg County Air Quality and crushed over 280,000 tons in 2007.  Crushing clients include:  Rea Contracting, Blythe Brothers Asphalt Company, APAC-Atlantic, J&B Development, Hoopaugh Grading, Mecklenburg County Solid Waste, John E. Jenkins, Westinghouse Materials, Midstate Contractors, and Barnhill Contracting.
